R. J. Haney Heritage Park ~ Help

As you may be aware, we depend a great deal upon community support in order to operate and continue to develop Haney Heritage Village.

Yes, we can always use cash donations, but we also need YOU to come out and use the park, whether to attend our Special Events, have your Wedding or Family Reunion, visit the museum and village, or just come for a picnic or to walk our Nature Trails. This is your Museum and Village. We welcome you to use it.

We also need volunteers for all aspects of the Park. Help is always needed with our events, assisting our curator with the collection and archives, adopting part of our Nature Trail, building a fence or painting a picnic bench.

Not only do we need donated artifacts to help with exhibits and preserving the history of Salmon Arm, but we are also a 40 acre park and heritage village that needs everything it takes to run such a facility. Garden hoses, rakes, carpenter and mechanic tools, office equipment, and building supplies are always needed for the operation and upkeep of the park.Check your basement or garden shed for any unused or extra items that we may be able to use (we can issue a Tax Receipt).
