Planning has started for the 27th Annual Heritage Week Celebration from February 20-25, 2023. This year's Provincial theme is "Always in All Ways" and invites you to explore your local community's heritage in all the ways that excite you! Since moving to a digital format in 2021, this will be our third annual online silent auction. Will you again support the Heritage Week Silent Auction with a donation?

Volunteers & staff will begin canvasing your businesses shortly and throughout the coming weeks for our online silent auction. Please let us know if you will be supporting this important event. Staff members will need ample time to organize, photograph and upload your donations to launch the auction site on February 20th on Bidding Owl.

With your continued support, we hope to exceed last year's fundraising totalling $8,400! Because of businesses and community members like you, we continued to succeed and offer cultural programs, hands-on activities and operations at the Village and Museum. You are the reason we grow and why R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum is the Shuswap's largest heritage attraction!  We are partnering with the Mall at Piccadilly for the Heritage Week activities which will see the return of the annual Best of the Shuswap Pie Baking Contest and the famous live pie auction on Saturday, February 25th, 2023.

The silent auction will have a presence at the Mall, with pictures and instructions on placing bids online all week. This format will maximize the exposure of your business and the brand and services you provide. We will also upload information about the online auction to our website and social media networks. Donors, sponsors, and all previous year's bidders will be notified with a link to register for the auction. We encourage you to invite your clients to participate as well. This is a great way to show your community support.
