Hello everyone:
It is hard to believe we are ending another busy and successful season. Thank you to everyone who helped us during events, functions and daily operations!
For the last two weeks, I am looking for volunteers for the following dates & positions:
Harvest Celebration on Sunday, September 10
Tent, pop up tents and tables Set up, looking for 5 volunteers on Thursday, September 7, starting at 10 am
For Sunday, September 10 – day of the event, I am looking for the following:
Parkers, looking for 2 volunteers from 2:30 to 4:00 pm
Food Platting at the Haney food table, looking for 2 volunteers from 2:45 to 6:15 pm
Bussing, looking for 3 volunteers from 3:15 to 7:15 pm
Raffle Tickets, looking for 2 volunteers from 3:00 to 5:30 pm
Haney House, looking for 2 volunteers to offer tours of the House from 4:00 to 6:00 pm
Take Down, looking for 4 volunteers starting at 6:00 pm
Bill Laird’s Thank You Lunch on Thursday, September 14
Kitchen Assist, on Wednesday, September 13, looking for 1 volunteer from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
Buffet Assist & Bussing, looking for 3 volunteers, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
SASCU Retirement Dinner Buffet on Friday, September 15
Buffet Assist & Bussing, looking for 3 volunteers, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm
Kitchen Assist, looking for 1 volunteer from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
Haney House
Are you interested in our local history? Would you like to welcome visitors and offer them a tour of the Haney House?
Shift is from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Looking for one volunteer per day for the following dates: September 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15 & 16 (material provided)
Children’s Museum
Volunteers interested in this position will be welcoming visitors into the Children’s Museum, briefly describing the different stations in the museum. Even though this is a self-discovery space, volunteers will assist visitors with using the microscope, switching on the TV in the story circle when guests come in, and maintaining the place organized. Shift is from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. Looking for one volunteer per day for the following dates: September 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15 & 16

is on Sunday, September 17
2nd Volunteer Best Draw Ever!
For the shifts covered during August and September. I will share all the prize details with you as soon as we have them.
How to enter:
1. Submit your Volunteer Application form.
2. Volunteer between August 1 and September 16, 2023.
Three volunteered shifts give you one entry; six volunteered shifts give you two entries; nine volunteered shifts give you three entries. Any extra volunteered shift will give you an additional entry. Shifts must be completed by Saturday, September 16, 2023.
The draw will be on Sunday, September 17, 2023, during the Volunteer Lunch
