Volunteers Needed for

Hello everyone,
Spooktacular is back! The event is on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:
Set Up – It takes a village to set up for Spooktacular; we will start on Thursday, October 5 and go until Friday, October 20. Set up will take place Monday to Friday, and the start time is at 10 am daily. Some of the things that we will be working on are scenes & props (electric chair, witches, tombstones, etc.), spider webs, Haunted House, Spook Trail, Pumpkin Trail, Fortune Teller, Midway Games, Crafts & Face Painting Stations, and much more! Let me know if you can help up any of these days 😊.
For the days of the event - Saturday, October 21 & Sunday, October 22. All shifts are from 4:00 to 9:00 pm except for Parkers, Pointers & Traffic Control (see details below)
Gate – looking for 2 volunteers to work alongside a staff member welcoming guests to the event and charging admission.
Parkers, Pointers & Traffic Control – looking for 8 volunteers to work alongside Bruce & Jesse, directing visitors to their parking spot. Shift is from 3:15 to 8:15 pm.
Bonfire – looking for 2 volunteers to keep the Bonfire going and supervise that visitors don’t get too close to it.
Face Painting Station – looking for 3 volunteers. Materials will be provided; just bring your imagination!
Craft & Colouring Station – looking for 3 volunteers to manage the craft & colouring station.
Midway Games – looking for 3 volunteers to play old-fashioned games with the young visitors and give away candy.
Mad Scientist & Assistant – Looking for 2 volunteers to play the role of Mad Scientist and their Assistant.
Haunted House – looking for 4 volunteers to monitor the Haunted House.
Storybook Path – looking for 3 volunteers. This interactive trail for younger visitors Focuses on Nursery Rhymes, Riddles and Stories.
Trail Monitors – looking for 6 volunteers to monitor the trail to the haunted House, keeping groups close together and moving at a steady pace down the hill to the entrance.
Spooks – looking for volunteers to dress in costume and act their part to add to everyone’s experience!
Take Down – looking for volunteers to help with the takedown on October 25, 26 & 27 starting at 10 am daily.
