Celebrate the arrival of spring at the 13th Annual High Tea at R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Enjoy an afternoon of antics, music, entertainment, tea and treats with a playful twist - all set in the beautiful Heritage Village.

Tickets for High Tea are $35.00 and include your admission to the Village. You can purchase tickets by calling 250-832-5243 or visiting R.J. The Sprig of Heather restaurant has created a special menu with freshly prepared finger sandwiches, scones, and various homemade cakes and treats paired with specialty teas.

R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum is delighted to welcome storyteller Daniel Mellows. Daniel has been involved in theatre since the second grade, progressing to train with Trinity College London and Thompson Rivers University. He has a passion for local history and is known for his engaging historical storytelling with a humorous twist. Daniel's credits include performances such as Moose Under Coyote Sleeping (100 Years of Lumby's History) and multiple appearances at Caetani House in Vernon.

Local musician Lawren Clark and his repertoire of original songs, creative mashups, and re-interpretations of pop, jazz, Latin, and blues-style music is a perfect backdrop of musical entertainment for High Tea.

Join us as R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum presents a delightful Fashion Show at High Tea. Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of fashion as we showcase a stunning array of outfits, from classic to contemporary, each piece telling a unique story. This event promises to be a celebration of fashion, culture, and tradition.

Come dressed up for High Tea in your best Edwardian Garb. Prizes for the best hat will be awarded.
