One SA Roots and Blues Adult Weekend Pass

Thanks to the generosity of SA Roots & Blues we have, not one, but two passes, so we will have TWO winners! This means I will be drawing TWO names and each winner will receive one SA Roots and Blues Adult Weekend Pass. HUGE thank you to the Roots & Blues for their kind donation!

This is how you can enter:
Submit your 2024 volunteer application form, there are a couple of different ways you can do this, all the details are down below in the Volunteer Form section. Volunteering between April 27 and June 6th for five shifts will give you one entry. There is no limit on how many entries you can have.

Worry there aren't enough event dates for you to volunteer before June 6th?
Sign up for shifts in upcoming events. Yes, you are reading it correctly, when you sign up for a shift on an upcoming event, even if it is in August, we will count it as a volunteered shift, because we know you love us and won’t let us down 😉

Volunteer Application Form

If you NO longer want to volunteer, please reply to this email here, and I will remove your information from our email list. Note that this is ONLY for the Volunteer mailing list; if you have signed up to receive, for example, emails about upcoming events or membership, you will STILL receive those emails.

For those who would like to volunteer this year, please fill out the 2024 Volunteer Application form and send it back to me. HINT: you will need to save the form to your computer or phone before filling it out and emailing it back to me at volunteer@salmonarmmuseum.org, or if you prefer, you can print the form and drop it off at the office Wed-Sun between 10 am and 4 pm or mail it to 751 Hwy 97B NE PO Box 1642 Salmon Arm, BC V1E 4P7. It is helpful to me when you guys fill out your application form as that way I can keep all your information up to date and know who is volunteering this year.

No changes on your Volunteer Application Form?Suppose your contact information and the positions you want to volunteer for remain the same as last year’s; you can email me but please check the positions, there are a couple of changes and I added some and took some out. Also, there is now a Photo Release Form, what this means is you will grant us your permission to post pictures on social media while you are volunteering at Haney; this is very important to us as we cannot use pictures of you when working an event to promote our Volunteer Program or to recognize volunteers without your permission. So, if you are going to email me, do it here and follow these steps:

1. Let me know you will be volunteering during our 2024 season
2. Let me know there are no changes to your contact information
3. If there are other positions you are interested in, list them here
4. Let us know if we have your permission to post your photo on social media. It is important to clarify that when I post on social media I DO NOT include last names, only first names
5. Make sure the emergency contact information is up to date
6. Sign the email with your full name, and I will take care of the rest!

Do you have a friend interested in joining our fantastic group of volunteers?

Last year we introduced the Refer a Friend Program, and as a result, we had a couple of wonderful volunteers joining our team. Invite your friends to come and volunteer with us. Your name will be entered in a monthly draw for every person who signs in and volunteers for at least one shift. So, remember to let us know who you are referring!

I am looking forward to seeing you all this season.
