Hello Haney Volunteers!
The countdown is on—just 4 days until our Annual Work Bee!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and come be a part of something special at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum.
If you missed our first shout-out, here’s the scoop:
We’re teaming up with the fabulous Shuswap Rotary Club to get the Village ready for the season—and we need you to help make it shine!
We’ll be tackling:
• Yard work and gardening
• Raking and outdoor cleanup
• Washing tables, chairs, benches & windows
• Theatre tidying and a little elbow grease all around
• Trail cleanup
• Children’s Outdoor Play area cleanup
🌿 Pro Tip: We have a limited number of tools on hand, so if you have rakes, wheel barrels or gardening tools at home, please bring them along!
✨ All volunteers will be entered in a random prize draw to win two tickets to Villains and Vittles Dinner Theatre written by the always funny and popular playwright Peter Blacklock! This years show promises to be fast paced and music - filled!
🍽️ A delicious lunch will be served up with love by the Rotary Club!
Whether you’re a veteran volunteer or brand new to Haney, this is your chance to connect, contribute, and kick off spring with a little sweat and a lot of heart.
Let us know you’re coming—reply to this email or call us at 250-832-5243.
Gloves, water bottles, and big smiles encouraged!
We’re counting down the days and can’t wait to welcome you.
With appreciation,
Haney Team
