Are you interested in becoming more involved with the community?

As a registered not-for-profit charity, R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum is thankful to have a devoted group of volunteers who help us connect guests with the history of Salmon Arm.

Consider joining our team of volunteers. Volunteers lend their skills to our organization in gardening, maintenance, interpreting, and more, these positions are generally during the day. Special event volunteers help us during our events, from food services to parking these are mostly weekend positions and are a great way to start volunteering at the Village.

Volunteers receive training while working in a historical and friendly atmosphere. It is an opportunity to meet new people while sharing much-needed skills.

In return, volunteers get free admittance to events they are volunteering at and a meal at those events. An appreciation luncheon is held at the end of the season and levels of hours acquired are rewarded with prizes.

Students can gain experience and letters of acknowledgement for their time.

Have fun volunteering at R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum and donate hours to help the Village meet its goal of collecting, preserving, displaying and educating people about the history of Salmon Arm and area.

Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator for more information.

Thank you! Without your support, we could not succeed!
